Ny tur til Leeds. Denne gang med Rune, Olve og Lasse. Bibis Restaurant kan virkelig anbefales sviktet ikke denne gang heller. Mannen på toalettet spurte Lasse om han skulle ha en “ladykiller” (Eau de cologne). Da sa Lasse; “I`ve already got a ladykiller. I f you mix the ladykillers, then you don`t have any ladykiller”.
Tidlig kampstart lørdag 5. desember, kl 12.15, high risc match! Drosje tidlig opp på stadion. Lasse ble (som vanlig) intervjuet. Denne gang var det BBC kanalen, Radio 5 live som kjørte sitt Football League Show. Se bilder under. Reporteren spurte om hvor vi kom fra og hvor mange ganger jeg hadde vært på Elland Road. Jeg fikk fortalt at jeg trodde det ble opprykk i år. Videre ble jeg spurt om hvilken innflytelse jeg mente Simon Grayson hadde hatt på laget. Svarte så godt jeg kunne.
Vi skulle inn på VIP-området; Banqueting Suite. Olve hadde på seg dongeri og T-skjorte og slapp ikke inn.Rune og jeg (Lasse) måtte kjøpe oss slips (Leedsslips). En av lederne på området gjorde en stor innsats for å få tak i skjorte og bukse til Olve. Han klarte det faktisk til slutt. Stor takk til han. Olve leverte tilbake antrekket etter kampen. De er ganske strenge på antrekket i Leeds (England). Fredag kome ikke Olve inn på Living Room med en fin dongeribukse. Vakta pekte på Olve og sa; This is casual, før han pekte på meg og sa; This is not casual.Lørdag kom Olve inn på Living Room etter at vi hadde vært på Tiger og dresset han opp.
Vi satt sammen med 3 fra Norge. En fra Trøndelag (Hysnes) og en fra Tønsberg. Tror også han siste var fra Tønsberg. Stort område og masse folk på Banqueting Suite. Høy kjendisfaktor. 5 spillere fra det berømte Leedslaget fra begynnelsen av 70-tallet var inne på området. Allan Clarke og Paul Reaney signerte bilder jeg tok av dem i januar 09 ifm kampen mot Peterborough. Reaney spurt; Where are you from? Jeg svarte; “don`t you reconized me” dultet han meg vennskapelig i skuldra!Paul Reaney sa til han fra Trøndelag da han signerte trøya hans; “if you sell this you gonna go to jail”!
Det var nesten fullsatt på Elland Road, 36 723. Utrolig bra tilskuertall. Bra trøkk fra publikum, også fra Huddersfield supporterne. Veldig gode plasser, skinnseter midt på banen. Kampen endte 2-2 der kanskje Huddersfield var det beste laget. Norman Hunter hadde fornuftige analyser både i pausen og etter kampen. Etter kampen var det intervju med “man of the match”, Robert Snodgrass. Det var også en del utdeling av premier. Et signert bilde av Leeds ble auksjonert bort for 520 GBP.
Vi prøvde ut en Thai restaurant som het “Thai Edge”. God og mye mat og hyggelige servitører. En eldre dame hadde virkelig glimt i øyet. Det var 2 bursdager rundt oss. Vi hadde også selvsagt (opplagt spøk) bursdag og Olve fikk is og betjeningen komm inn og sang for oss (se bilde under).
Som vanlig er det litt av vært å ståi på turene. Denne gang intervjuet av Radio 5 live (BBC) med sitt "Football League Show"
Olve hadde ikke rett antrekk til VIP-sonenog ble dresset opp av en usedvanlig hjelpsom ansatt som het Stuart.
Vi ser at Platinum Print hadde 4 gjester mot Lasse Tjønnøy - Tjini Sport Travel - sine 3.

Huddersfield twice came from behind to claim a deserved point at local rivals and League One leaders Leeds.
Robert Snodgrass put United ahead after two minutes, slotting home following an error from Town keeper Alex Smithies.
Lee Novak equalised for the visitors, heading home following Peter Clarke’s deflected shot, but substitute Max Gradel’s drive restored Leeds’ lead.
Jordan Rhodes’ header pulled Town level again though and Anthony Pilkington hit the bar for the visitor’s late on.
Leeds United manager Simon Grayson told BBC Radio Leeds:
“It was a real good advert for League One football and was an entertaining very good game.
“There were plenty of chances for both sides with both going for the win and I think a draw was a fair result overall.
“Both sides played in the right manner, we could have lost it right at the end, but equally could have killed it off early, so a draw was fair.
“It’s another point for us on our way to trying to achieve our goal of promotion this season.
Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark told BBC Radio Leeds:
“I think after you go down after a minute the lads showed a lot of character to come back and how we were still losing at half-time is a mystery because we had lots of chances.
“To fight back twice is down to a magnificent performance by the lads. We showed some great quality today.
“So I’m delighted with the performance, but on the other hand we could have won it so I’m a little frustrated too.
“To come here and more than match the league leaders is very pleasing for me.”
